Region of Central Greece is one of the thirteen (13) administrative regions of Greece. The region occupies the eastern half of the traditional region of Central Greece, including the island of Evia. To the south it borders the regions of Attica and the Peloponnese, to the west the region of Western Greece and to the north the regions of Thessaly and Epirus. Its capital city is Lamia. It consists of the regional units of Evia, Evritania, Fthiotida, Fokida and Viotia.
