QUINTA DE VENTOZELO

Quinta de Ventozelo (circa 1500), located in Cima Corgo, is one of the biggest estates in the Douro, with 400 ha, of which 200 ha is continuous Vineyards. The irregular topography, due to the watercourses crossing the landscape, and the altitude allied with the biodiversity of the Mediterranean forest and Olive orchard, creates a myriad of microclimates. 135 identified plots, and a wide-ranging grape variety all contribute to the production of distinctively elegant Douro wines.
