Montofoli Wine Estate, in South Evia, is so much more than just a vineyard it is a place where time stops: Roman, Byzantine, Frankish, Catalan, Venetian, and Ottoman rulers have owned the estate throughout its long history and have pointed out its exceptional energy. The buildings already found on the estate are built in different historical periods and have been restored with great skill and with respect to their own unique history. The 4 acre vineyard was planted in 1986 with 4 Aegean grape varieties Assyrtiko, Aidani, Athiri & Liatiko from which produce our flagship sun-dried dessert wine.
