This story begins with a G, as in Gioacchino, born in 1891 with an abiding love for Berchidda, the land where he was born and raised. In 1949 Giacomo, together with his children Pietrino and Pasqualino, planted the first family vineyard. Nothing more and nothing less than what many other families did in this small town in the countryside of the Olbia-Tempio province (midway between Monte Acuto and the sea of Gallura on the Mediterranean island of Sardinia)where a passion for winemaking co-exists harmoniously with an equally passionate tradition of jazz.
