Quinta do Cardo

Quinta do Cardo vineyards are in the historical village of Castelo Rodrigo, and surrounded by the landscape of Douro International Reserve, on a plateau with an altitude of 750 meters, being the highest vineyards in Portugal. Here Quinta do Cardo's wines have been produced since 1932. They are part of the Denomination of Controlled Origin of Beira Interior and are certified organic since from 2014, becoming a pioneer and reference project in Portugal. It is in this unique place that you will find aromatic and mineral whites and expressive reds.
