When two family businesses came together in the 1970s to create the Meckenheim winery, there was no question of its name, as both families had the same surname: Braun! Now related by marriage, the winery has been very much a family affair for three generations, with a passion for producing quality wine and seeing the fun in everyday life. ‘We live with the wine and for the wine’. Every member of the Braun family works with their hands, heart and soul to achieve the best possible results, now headed by brothers Michael and Martin.
