Domaine François Cartier

Established five generations ago in some of the best soils to be found in the Cher Valley, Domaine Francois Cartier now grows almost 25 hectares of vines in the Pouillé municipality. The vineyards are situated on alkaline perruche, silex soils and are cultivated in the traditional manner, whilst still keeping environmental sustainability top of mind. Dry, crisp white wines from Sauvignon Blanc are the main focus, however a small amount of Chardonnay, Pineau d'Aunis, Cabernet Franc and Côt are also produced.
