About
Perticaia means plow, the instrument that more than any other marks the transition from sheep-farming to agricolture. For this indissoluble connection with the land and deep roots in the territory we decided to call the farm Perticaia. The company boasts today of 50 hectares of vineyards and 250 olive trees. The lands are slightly sloped and are 320-350 meters above sea level, and are mainly facing south, south-west. After the harvest, entirely hand made, the fermentation is triggered in a completely natural manner, thanks to the use of native yeasts, naturally present in the skins.
