To give birth to a wine of excellence, the vine needs a terroir which challenges its potential to the fullest. To give birth to a football player of excellence, one needs a potrero, a makeshift soccer field, which stimulates his virtues and forges his talents. In Argentina, both concepts, terroir and potrero, blend. As if blessed by contradiction, the poorer the terroir and the potrero, the better the results. Vinos De Potrero was founded by Nicolás Burdisso, former Boca Juniors and Argentina international football player, with his partner Belén.
