Jidvei Filiala Alba

Jidvei is the most famous Romanian producer of premium dry and medium dry white wines. Based in the heart of Transylvania, Jidvei’s vineyards spread on more than 2500 hectares alongside the Tarnave River, in one of the country’s oldest wine regions. The area has a plateau continental climate, with an annual average temperature of +9.8 degrees Celsius and average rainfall of 610-640 mm. The dominant soil type is brown soil composed mainly of clay, marl and gravel. The varieties planted in Jidvei’s vineyards are mostly white, both indigenous (Feteasca Alba, Feteasca Regala) and international.
