Clos d’Elpis was created by friends Jean-François Daudiès and Benjamin Roig. They cultivate their vineyards in the Côtes du Roussillon using mechanical processes with minimal impact on the environment. Clos d’Elpis produces a range of mono-varietal wines under IGP Côtes Catalanes using Grenache gris for their whites, Grenache noir for their rosés, and Syrah for their reds. Named after Elpis, the ancient Greek spirit of Hope, the domaine pays tribute to the wines of Antiquity. All of its wines are vinified and aged in earthenware amphoras to reveal the purest expression of the varietals used.
